McDermott International, Ltd Awarded Major EPCI Contract for Shell’s Manatee Gas Field Development in Trinidad and Tobago!
A crucial engineering, procurement, construction, installation (EPCI), hook-up, and commissioning contract by Shell Trinidad and Tobago Limited for the Manatee gas field development. Located 60 miles off Trinidad and Tobago’s southeast coast, this project marks a significant step forward in the region’s energy infrastructure.
Building on successful front-end engineering and design work, McDermott will design, procure, fabricate, and commission the platform and jacket. Additionally, they will manage the installation and commissioning of a 32-inch gas pipeline connecting the platform to Shell’s gas processing facility, as well as a fiber optic cable for enhanced connectivity.
This award highlights McDermott’s integrated EPCI expertise and solidifies their longstanding partnership with Shell. The project will play a critical role in bolstering the future gas supply for both domestic use and export in Trinidad and Tobago.
