Carlos Ortiz Reguer

Carlos Ortiz Reguer is Transocean’s Marketing Director for Latin America with 30 years of experience in the energy industry. He co-founded Eaco Mexicana. He later joined GE Oil & Gas as Country Manager for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. Since then, he has worked in roles of increasing responsibility in business development and marketing areas with Transocean, Seadrill and Rowan Companies. Carlos is a mechanical and electrical engineer graduated from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He is currently a member of the board of directors of Social Venture Exchange Mexico and serves in the capacity of president of the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) Latin American Chapter.
