The FPSO Bacalhau, developed by MODEC, has made history as the world’s first newly built FPSO to receive the prestigious Approval in Principle (AiP) for the Slaughter Rating from the classification society DNV. This certification underscores the FPSO’s exceptional emission management system and energy efficiency.
