“He is a Petroleum Engineer graduated from the School of Engineering of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), has a Master’s degree in Energy Management, as well as a specialty in energy project management from the University of the Americas Puebla (UDLAP).
As an engineer he has worked in the areas of research of technologies for the Exploration and Extraction of hydrocarbons and in the area of Development Plans for the Extraction in projects of PEMEX Exploration and Production.
In the environmental and safety area, he has served as General Director of Exploration and Extraction Regulations, Head of the Regulations and Standards Unit and since June 2023 as Head of the Industrial Supervision, Inspection and Surveillance Unit of the National Agency of Industrial Safety and Environmental Protection of the Hydrocarbons Sector ASEA.
In the academic field, he is a Professor in the subject “”Economics of Hydrocarbons”” at the Faculty of Engineering of the UNAM, and has also been a speaker at various forums on topics related to safety and environmental protection in the hydrocarbons sector.”
