Petroleum Engineer with 22 years of experience in the area of offshore oil well drilling. Graduated from the Faculty of Engineering of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, graduated in 2001. She studied for a Master’s degree in the specialty of Well Drilling during the period 2006-2008 at the same Faculty of Engineering of the UNAM. She joined Petróleos Mexicanos in February 2001 as an apprentice engineer in the Deputy Engineering Management of the Drilling and Well Maintenance Management, Marine Division. She is featured as a project engineer and execution and analysis engineer for drilling operations and drilling design during 2001 to 2006. In 2008 joined Ku-Maloob-Zaap Drilling Operating Unit, as Drilling Design Specialist. In 2009, she was appointed drilling design specialist for highly complex wells in the Sihil field of the Cantarell asset. In 2011 she joined the ranks of the Deepwater Operating Unit, where she developed as Deepwater and Ultra Deepwater Well Drilling Operations Coordinator for the Gulf of Mexico, as responsible for the operational continuity of the process. From 2017 she held the position of Shallow Water Drilling Operations Coordinator in the Ku-Maloob-Zaap and Cantarell Drilling Units in PEP. She currently serves as Head of Operations of the Cantarell Operating Unit in charge of managing the drilling, completion and workover processes of the Cantarell Production Asset in PEP.
