Wintershall Dea Mexico has been granted approval by the National Hydrocarbons Commission (Comisión Nacional de Hidrocarburos) for a pivotal 2023-2024 evaluation and work program at the Kan-1EXP discovery, positioned just 20 km off the Tabasco coast in the Southeast Basin Petroleum Province.
