Petrobras Delays FPSO Bidding Deadline for SEAP-I and SEAP-II Projects
Petrobras remains committed to transparency and engages with suppliers to optimize bidding conditions. In a move to enhance competitiveness and attractiveness, Petrobras announces the postponement of the proposal submission deadline from February 19, 2024, to June 14, 2024, for the FPSO contracting in the SEAP-I and SEAP-II Projects.
✳ Key Highlights 🔹The SEAP program comprises two modules, each featuring an FPSO: The first unit boasts a daily production capacity of 120,000 barrels of oil and 10 million cubic meters of natural gas.
🔹The second unit is designed to process 120,000 barrels of oil and 12 million cubic meters of gas daily, accompanied by a 134-kilometer gas pipeline.
🔹The SEAP program unlocks a new productive frontier in the Northeast region, tapping into significant reserves and potentially supplying up to 18 million cubic meters of gas daily to the consumer market.
Petrobras reaffirms its commitment to expanding the domestic gas supply and emphasizes the ongoing bidding processes to ensure project timelines are met for swift operational commencement.
