Congratulations PEMEX for the approval on drilling the exploratory well Platao-1EXP of the assignment AE-01-41-2M-Comalcalco.
The well is located in the state of Tabasco in the Cuencas del Sureste Basin.
The terrain elevation is 10 meters above sea level, with Medium Cretasic and Superior Jurasic geological targets. It has temperatures and pressures of 175C and 9,956 psi respectively with the expected hydrocarbon of light oil. The well will have a directional “J” type trajectory at a total depth of 6,419 vertical meters under a rotary table with a work schedule of 198 days.
The drilling equipment used is an ICMA-900 with 3,000 HP and a BOP of 15,000 psi capacity.
