As Schlumberger General Director for Mexico and Central America, Jesús Lamas is responsible for leading the company’s operations, offering complete solutions for reservoir characterization, drilling and production to the oil and gas industry.
His high managerial assertiveness has made him a very important piece in the growth and leadership of the company where he previously served as Vice President of the Land Rigs Division for the Western Hemisphere, Vice President of Drilling and Measurement for Latin America and Director of Human Resources for Latin America. As a key element to developing business strategy, he has held important executive and commercial positions in Latin America, North America, Africa and Asia. With over 20 years of experience, he has served as General Director for Mexico and Central America since June 2016.
Jesús holds a Masters of Science in Management in the Oil and Gas Industry from the Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Great Britain; studies in Financial Strategy of the recognized International Management Development Institute (IMD) in Switzerland; and, a Mechanical Engineering degree obtained at the Simón Bolívar University in Caracas, Venezuela.
