Adam has 20+ years exploration experience in the Oil and Gas industry with exposure to various basins globally, including US GoM, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and most recently Mexico. Following graduation from the University of Alabama with a M.S. in Geology/Geophysics, he began his career at Mobil in New Orleans working U.S GoM shelf and deep-water assets along with AVO, Inversion and Neural Networks projects. Following the merger with Exxon, Adam moved to Devon Energy working as an Exploration Geophysicist in the deep water GoM, identifying and maturing exploration assets including early entry in the Wilcox trend. After several years working technical projects as well as co-authoring several technical paper, he moved into a managerial role for Devon leading exploration activity in the subsalt Miocene GoM. Adam accepted an Exploration Manager position at Murphy 9 years ago following Devon’s divestiture of its offshore assets and lead exploration and new venture teams for US. GoM, Australia, and currently as General Manager Exploration and New Ventures for Mexico.
