Vinicio Suro Pérez is a Geophysics Engineer from UNAM and Ph.D. on Applied Earth Sciences from Stanford University. He has more than thirty years of experience in Upstream, having a 25-year tenure in Mexico’s National Oil and Gas company, Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex), here he held positions such as Hydrocarbons Reserves Manager, Deputy Director of Planning and Deputy Director of Production for the Southern Region at Pemex Exploración y Producción (PEP). After his time at our country’s National Oil Company, Doctor Suro Pérez spent 3 years as the Director of the Instituto Mexicano del Petróleo (IMP) from 2012 until 2014, before becoming Hokchi’s Vicepresident of the Board and General Manager for Emsep, positions he currently holds.

Shallow & Deepwater Mexico: Offshore oil and gas congress focused on exploration and production of hydrocarbons in shallow and deep waters in the Gulf of Mexico.
