Sandra has 26 years of experience in the hydrocarbons industry with emphasis in the development of Deepwater (DW) projects from pre-feasibility to first oil. Sandra has vast experience in Commercial and Upstream Negotiations, Economic Evaluations, and Reservoir Development Planning, mainly in DW projects with BHP and BP. She has worked extensively in the USA (Gulf of Mexico), Mexico, Brazil, China, Angola, Gabon, India, and Australia. Her areas of responsibility include establishing strong relationships with Government agencies and other IOCs. She is a well-recognized representative for BHP within Governments and IOCs, most recently in Mexico, Australia, and Brazil.

Sandra has a master’s degree in administration of Energy and Mineral Resources from the University of Texas in Austin, a bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, and attended the Harvard Executive Negotiation Program.

Shallow & Deepwater Mexico: Offshore oil and gas congress focused on exploration and production of hydrocarbons in shallow and deep waters in the Gulf of Mexico.
