CARLOS ADRIÁN GARCÍA BASTO, is the General Director of the Energy Agency of Campeche since October 1, 2021. He studied Political Science at the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico. In 2013 he obtained a degree in International Business from the Autonomous University of Carmen. He has a Diploma in Introduction to Literature, one in Mexican Literature of the 20th Century and other in Formulation of Energy Projects.
During his professional career, he has held strategic positions in different operational, commercial and administrative areas of the Oil & Gas sector, with more than 11 years of experience. In the public sector, he has been designated Coordinator of the Regulatory Improvement Area of the municipality of Carmen, Campeche and Advisor to the Council Area of the same municipality. In social activity, he was vice president of “”Yo Consumo””, a civil association that promoted local commerce and co-founder and volunteer, of the O.N.G. “”Generacion X la democracia””.
