José Luis González González

Head of the Industrial Supervision, Inspection and Surveillance Unit
Security, Energy and Environment Agency (ASEA)

Petroleum engineer and with a master’s degree in petroleum engineering from the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

He began his professional career in 1987 as a geothermal well drilling manager.

He worked for 27 years at Pemex Exploration and Production in the areas of Drilling and Industrial Safety in land and marine areas.

He was a professor of Well Drilling in the university and of Well Control in the specialty at the Faculty of Engineering of the UNAM.

In August 2015, he joined the ASEA as General Director of Supervision, Inspection and Surveillance in Exploration and Extraction and since May 2016 he is the Head of the Supervision, Inspection and Industrial Surveillance Unit.

Shallow & Deepwater Mexico: Offshore oil and gas congress focused on exploration and production of hydrocarbons in shallow and deep waters in the Gulf of Mexico.
