Mr. Gonzalez has been the Managing Counsel of Eni Mexico since April 18, 2022, and is also the current Chairman of the Legal Committee of the Mexican Association of Hydrocarbon Companies (AMEXH).
Prior to joining Eni Mexico, he served as General Counsel of BHP, (now Woodside Energy), the Australian company in charge of the ultra-deepwater project known as Trion, in partnership with Petroleos Mexicanos. Previously, he was an associate in energy matters at Thompson & Knight and Gonzalez Calvillo.
He has been a pioneer in innovative projects in the Mexican energy industry. throughout his career, he has represented national and international oil and gas national and international oil and gas companies, as well as the main refining companies that refining companies that first ventured into the Mexican market. into the Mexican market for the first time.
